The Droppin Well Bombing

On December 6, 1982, a tragic event occurred in Ballykelly, Northern Ireland. The Irish National Liberation Army (INLA) detonated a bomb at the Droppin Well bar and disco, a popular spot for British Army soldiers. The attack resulted in the death of 17 people, 11 of whom were soldiers and six were civilians. The bombing was one of the deadliest attacks during the Troubles.
